Just when you think it is safe to feed your dog or cat again it gets worse.

The recall of pet food and treat products has been expanded again.

Now it includes products from Nestle Purina PetCare Co. and Del Monte Pet Products both of which produce products for numerous ‘private brands’.

Evidently Purina and Del Monte also purchased wheat gluten from China and some of their products contain the same substances which have been implicated in killing hundreds if not thousands of pets in the U.S.

Just goes to show what can happen when people decide to save a few bucks by purchasing cheap stuff from China…
