Easter Bunny Freezes To Death
Not really.
We were just kidding.
But none the less, it is cold, damned cold, over most of the United States this Easter weekend. Probably cold enough to freeze lots of Easter eggs, if not Easter Bunnies themselves.
In Washington, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival events are going on as planned this weekend in spite of the fact that the cherry blossoms are covered in snow.
In Cleveland, for the second day in a row, a baseball game between the Cleveland Indians and Seattle Mariners has been postponed due to snow and cold weather.
It snowed in Atlanta, Georgia which had its lowest temperatures for the date in 100 years.
While over in Augusta, Georgia the players in the Masters GolF Tournament started the day with temps in the low forties and a cold north wind of 15 mph and were more interested in the 72 degrees of the clubhouse than a par 72 on the golf course. Most reportedly finished the round without frostbite, but with scores a lot higher than the temperature.
Read it at Easter Weekend Brings Snow And Chills and think of how much colder it would be were it not for Al Gore and his ‘global warming thingie’…
