Twenty-two year old Deonte Edward Bradley is ‘skeered’, real scared.

Why, you may ask?

Deonte is in the Wayne County Jail in Michigan, held on a $1 million bond and some of the other inmates don’t like poor little Deonte. As a matter of fact, some of them would probably give just about anything to get their hands on Deonte. This has caused Deonte’s lawyer Eric Goze, to ask a judge to have Bradley isolated in the Wayne County Jail for his own protection.

So why is poor little Deonte in jail?

According to Detroit police, Deonte is the person that attacked 91-year-old World War II veteran Leonard Sims in a carjacking that was captured on video and which has been broadcast around the world, shocking and angering practically everyone that has seen it.

Also according to Detroit police, Deonte Edward Bradley confessed to the brutal attack upon Mr. Sims, in which the elderly man was struck in the head 21 times while pinned between the door of his car and another in the adjacent parking space. This while five ‘perfect cowards’ stood by watching and doing nothing.

When asked why he beat Mr. Sims so savagely, Bradley allegedly told police, “It’s something I did, and it was stupid.”

Deonte, what you did was not only stupid.

It was savage, so savage that you never again deserve to walk the face of this earth with civilized people, for you are not civilized. It is doubtful that you are even human. But society itself being for the most part civilized is precluded from tossing you to your fellow prisoners, although that’s probably what you deserve.

Mr. Sims’ wife Nora pretty much summed up how most if not all of us feel Deonte when after your court hearing yesterday she said, “Let the prisoners have him. Let him see what it feels like to be hit 21 times”.
