The folks at RC2 Corporation need to pull their heads out of their asses long enough to realize that “Cheap shit from China” costs them more, a lot more, in the long run.

RC2 Corporation took a double-dicking from the Chinese junk merchants when the makers of the Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway toys had to issue a second recall owing to lead paint problems.

Turns out that RC2 Corp tried to make amends for having to recall a bunch of the smiley-faced trains earlier this summer by sending customers who turned in recalled toys “bonus gifts” in an ill-fated attempt to maintain customer loyalty.

Turns out that now the hapless company is having to recall some of the “bonus gifts” owing to, yep, you guessed it, lead paint problems.

Evidently the folks at RC2 Corporation have never heard that old saying that goes something like, “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me“…

Read it at Toy Recall on Top of Toy Recall and watch out for that cheap shit from China. It can get expensive, real expensive, sometimes…
