Problems in Paradise.

That is one-hell-of-an-understatement for Toni Allexy, 39, of, well, of Paradise, California.

Toni Allexy

Allexy, the head cheer mother of the Paradise Junior Bobcats Cheerleading team, was arrested recently on allegations of molesting a 14-year-old Midget Bobcats football player following what was allegedly a drunken party for cheerleaders and football players at Allexy’s home.

As if being accused of committing a lewd act upon a child is not bad enough, Allexy is also accused of misdemeanor counts of child endangerment on allegations that she served alcohol to kids to the point of their becoming intoxicated, that she became intoxicated herself and then drove several of the kids home and doing so while under the influence of alcohol.

It was during that drive that Allexy is accused of cramming her hand down the pants of the 14-year-old boy and “copping a feel”, or several “feels” as the case may be.

Needless to say, but we will anyhow, things have not been the same for the Paradise Junior Bobcats Cheerleading or Midget Bobcats football teams since.

Parents are up in arms, restraining orders are flying along with eggs and various other instruments of vandalism and of course there is the criminal charges hanging over Allexy’s head all of which serve to keep things in Paradise anything but.

At least Allexy is out of jail, which may or may not be a good thing.

In the wake of her arrest she was initially held on bail of $329,000. Following arraignment on one felony count of committing a lewd act upon a child and four misdemeanor counts of child endangerment she was released on her own recognizance, which of course is a hell-of-a-lot cheaper.

According to her defense attorney Robert Marshall, Allexy intends to plead not guilty at her continued arraignment on November 20th. Marshall is reported as saying, “We are confident that when this case is concluded she is going to be vindicated. My client has lived in her community her whole life. She is saddened by these charges.”

If convicted, she faces a maximum of four years in jail plus another three years in state prison, and will need to register as a lifetime sex offender.

Apparently Paradise is anything but…
