In keeping with the recent trend of making money by seeing religious figures in all sorts of stuff, Marilyn Smith of Port St. Lucie, Florida has managed to knock down $338 for a pancake which is purported to contain the images of Jesus and Mary.
Reportedly Smith placed the “holy pancake” up for auction on ebay and the bidding started at $35.
Supposedly by the time bidding ended, the flapjack was worth $338.
Wonder how many folks are feverishly working in their kitchen trying to turn out “knock offs”?
Anyhow, read it at Image Of Jesus And Mary Seen In Pancake and forget passing syrup as there’s just something very unappealing about a two-week-old pancake…
BUT WAIT!

There’s something weird going – check out THIS ebay auction set to end of November 17
It’s the same miracle pancake, sold once according to the news report and still listed for bid on ebay.
While miracles do happen.
This just isn’t one of them…
