Maybe it is something in the water.

Or maybe it is something about middle schools “down south” that makes people horny.

Whatever it is there is no doubt that we are hearing about a lot more middle school sex scandals than we did a few years ago. Or last week for that matter.

For example, take the scandal enveloping Spirit Creek Middle School, in Augusta, GA for example.

It has been alleged, reported, cussed and discussed that no less than SEVEN school employees were implicated in the incidents, which ranged from a pat on the butt to sexual trysts on an inflatable mattress in the school’s public safety office during school hours.

Denise Ogden,

Reportedly seventh-grade teacher Denise Ogden (above), principal Sharon McAlevy and public safety officer Ronnie Collins have left the employ of the school system, two by resignation and one by firing. Reportedly the three-some were mentioned in conjunction with “trysts on an inflatable mattress” in the public safety office and elsewhere in the school.

It has been reported that school leaders have indicated a love child has also resulted from the various trysts, though it’s not yet clear to which couple it might belong.

Anyhow, it appears from media reports that:

Denise Ogden actually exposed the whole thing herself by sending an e-mail to the school system, under a false name, revealing the details and also showing a photograph of another faculty member’s underwear — apparently as “proof” of what had happened.

Four other educators were also accused directly or indirectly, including two other teachers, a graduation coach and PE coach.

Of all the alleged bedding going on at Spirit Creek Middle School, school Superintendent Dana Bedden described the fiasco as a kind of love triangle gone wrong and said it was an “embarrassment” and “yucky”.
