Rowdy Offield – Taking It On The Run
Rowdy Offield, 39, serving a 30 year sentence in Missouri for armed robbery and kidnapping, has escaped.
Just not from a prison in Missouri. But instead from the Cleveland County jail in Norman, Oklahoma.
Seems there was this litter matter of a stick up at a Norman, OK Wal-Mart back a couple years ago and Cleveland County, OK “borrowed” Offield from his keepers in Missouri.
And while the mugshot is of ‘Ol Rowdy’, if you want to know what he looks like you will have to imagine him without the head or facial hair. Reportedly, he now sports a clean shaven face and head and is wearing a facial tattoo of some sort.
Just like his former cellmate in the aforementioned Cleveland County jail.
Yep, you guessed it. ‘Ol Rowdy’ switched identities with his former cellmate and waltzed right out of the Cleveland County jail when bond was posted for his hairless cellmate.
To complete his transformation, ‘Ol Rowdy’ somehow managed, evidently using a pen or marker of some type, to duplicate his cell-mate’s facial tattoo, completing his disguise.
What is surprising is that the Cleveland County jailers apparently did not notice that rather than Offoeld and his cellmate inhabiting their cell that it contained two of the “other guy”.
Maybe the jailers just figured they were seeing double or something.
In any case, Rowdy Offield has taken it on the run and according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s office should be considered dangerous.
We don’t know if Offield is dangerous, but there’s little doubt that he is smarter than the average Cleveland County jailer…
