Meet Dylan Morrison, 18, a student at Port St. Lucie High School in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Dylan Morrison

Dylan was busted on Tuesday and charged with petit theft and disruption of a school function, for stealing an apple from the teacher’s desk.

Reportedly the teacher confiscated a small spring which Morrison allegedly used to disrupt class.

According to the arrest report, Morrison became upset when the teacher took his spring, so he took a red apple from the teacher’s desk.

It is alleged that when the teacher asked that Morrison return the apple, Morrison demanded the teacher return the spring.

With the stand off in place, the teacher summoned the dean of students, who made three requests for the apple to be returned all of which Morrison refused.

Evidently young Mr. Morrison has not grasped the fact that in such negotiations he is at a distinct disadvantage, which became apparent when the dean called the cops and a deputy arrived and warned Morrison that criminal charges could be filed if he didn’t return the apple.

Morrison, still unaware of his weak negotiating position reportedly said, “So what? I’m not leaving without my spring.”.

Unfortunately for Morrison he did leave without his spring, as he was busted and hauled away, still in possession of the apple.

Reportedly the dean is going to press charges…

Marvin E. Schur was 93-years-old when he froze to death in his own home in Bay City, Michigan.

His cold and lifeless body was found by a neighbor on January 17th.

So what did Ol’ Marvin do to deserve being left to die in the cold and dark?

Reportedly he did not pay his electric bill, or more than likely, could not pay his electric bill.

Bay City Manager Robert Belleman told the Associated Press today that Schur owed over $1,000 to Bay City Electric Light & Power which ultimately killed Marvin Schur when a workman for the city owned utility installed a “limiter”, a device to restrict the use of electricity at Schur’s Bay City home on January 13.

The “limiter” acts like a fuse and blows out like a fuse if electricity consumption rises past a pre-set level. If the device blows, power is not restored until the device is reset and apparently poor Mr. Schur either was not told how the device worked or did not understand.

Kanu Virani, Oakland County’s deputy chief medical examiner, performed the autopsy on Marvin Schur and said the man died “a slow, painful death”.

Virani went on to say, “It’s not easy to die from hypothermia without first realizing your fingers and toes feel like they’re burning.”

Dr Virani said today that Schur, who lived alone, died as a result of hypothermia and that the house was cold enough that ice had formed in the kitchen sink. “He was wearing a double layer of clothes, trying to stay warm”, according to Dr. Virani.

Neighbors said that when Schur’s body was found, there was ice on the inside of the windows of his home.

Bay City Manager Robert Belleman says that he didn’t know if anyone made personal contact with Schur to explain how the “limiter” device works.

And in an absolute perfect display of idiocy, Belleman also said he doesn’t believe the city did anything wrong.

Mr. Belleman, here’s a clue for you – when you kill a resident of your city by disabling their utility service in the dead of winter, you have done something wrong…

Julinia Morenojoshua BarnesDavid Carver

Meet from left to right, Julinia Moreno, Joshua Barnes and David Carver.

This dynamic threesome from down Florida way ended up on the wrong end of the law and in a big way.

First comes Julinia Moreno who early Sunday morning allegedly decided to loan her car to Joshua Barnes, leaving her 1-year-old son, Jamir Worgs, in the back seat.

Then Ol’ Joshua allegedly drove the car to a known drug house in the area, where he left the car running and with the toddler inside.

Then Ol’ David, a car thief of some repute, comes along and allegedly jumped into the driver’s seat and took off, with little Jamir Worgs still in his car seat and apparently along for the ride of his young life.

But the cops say that Carver dumped the boy in a front yard of a home on Cornwall Court, in Longwood, and then traded the car for drugs.

Fortunately for little Jamir, Lupita Jimenez said she noticed the car seat in her front yard and the boy walking along a fence, soaking wet and cold so she took him inside, wrapped him in a blanket to warm him up and called the cops.

The cops spotted the car and two people getting out of it in the parking lot of the Walmart on Rinehart Road in Sanford, so the cops busted them, along with Moreno, Barnes and Carver.

Moreno charged with contributing to the dependency of a minor, appeared before a judge Monday morning and was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled for arraignment on February 17th.

Little Jamir is in the custody of Department of Children and Families where he is to remain.

Reportedly Barnes and Carver are cooling their heels in the Seminole County Jail with bond set at $5,000 each. They too are set for arraignment on February 17th.

No word on what happened with the “two others”…
